How Quick At collects, uses, stores, protects and shares personal information for riders, drivers, businesses, affiliates, vehicle owners, renters, courier users and app visitors.

This Privacy Policy applies to Quick At, the Quick At website, mobile app, rider tools, driver tools, wallet, booking pages, business pages, courier tools, vehicle rental tools, referral and affiliate marketing tools, safety tools, admin systems and any connected product or service made available by Quick At.
By using Quick At, creating an account, registering with Facebook or Google, requesting a ride, accepting a trip, listing a vehicle, renting a vehicle, using the wallet, joining referral or affiliate marketing, creating a business listing, using courier or shopping features, uploading documents or using safety features, you agree that Quick At may process your personal information as described in this Policy.
Quick At processes personal information in line with applicable privacy laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 of South Africa where it applies.
1. Who this Policy covers
This Policy covers every person or business that uses or interacts with Quick At. This includes riders, passengers, drivers, driver applicants, vehicle owners, vehicle renters, business owners, shop owners, accommodation providers, service providers, couriers, affiliates, referral users, website visitors, app users and people who contact Quick At support.
When you use Quick At on behalf of another person or business, you confirm that you have authority to provide their information and accept this Policy for that use.
2. Personal information we collect
Quick At may collect information that identifies you, your account, your device, your location, your vehicle, your business, your bookings, your payments, your communications and your use of the Platform.
- Name, surname, display name, username, email address, mobile number, password and account status.
- Profile photos, driver photos, vehicle photos, business logos, shop images, accommodation images and uploaded media.
- Identity documents, driver licence details, professional driving permit details where required, vehicle registration, roadworthy information, insurance information and verification documents.
- Pickup addresses, drop-off addresses, saved places, business addresses, delivery addresses, rental locations and service areas.
- Trip, pre-booking, request-a-ride, book-a-ride, courier, delivery, shopping, accommodation, service, vehicle rental and business booking records.
- Wallet balances, referral earnings, affiliate earnings, driver rewards, commission records, statements, payout records, withdrawal requests and banking details.
- Ratings, reviews, support messages, dispute records, incident reports, panic alerts, safety evidence and complaint history.
- Device data such as IP address, browser, app version, operating system, device identifiers, cookies, login records and usage analytics.
3. Location information
Quick At may collect and use location information when you use location-based services. This can include GPS location, pickup point, drop-off point, live driver location, route information, nearby service searches, distance estimates, delivery tracking and safety-related location records.
Location information is used to match riders and drivers, calculate routes and estimates, show live driver details, help with courier and delivery tracking, support preferred driver features, verify trip activity, investigate disputes, detect fraud and assist with safety incidents.
Location accuracy may be affected by your device, mobile network, GPS settings, internet connection, road conditions, map data and whether location permissions are enabled.
4. Rider and passenger information
For riders and passengers, Quick At may process account details, booking details, pickup and drop-off points, live trip data, payment method, wallet balance, referral balance, ride preferences, preferred driver codes, messages, ratings, complaints and safety reports.
This information helps Quick At place ride requests, calculate prices, confirm payment, send driver details, provide trip history, process refunds, manage safety reports, prevent abuse and support customer service.
5. Driver information
For drivers and driver applicants, Quick At may process identity details, contact details, profile photo, driver documents, vehicle documents, availability, driver code, live location, accepted trips, completed trips, cancelled trips, earnings, commission, rewards, withdrawal details, banking details, ratings, complaints and safety history.
This information is used for driver registration, verification, driver matching, trip management, statements, earnings calculations, payouts, support, safety reviews, fraud prevention and compliance with applicable requirements.
6. Business, shop and service provider information
For businesses, shops, accommodation providers and service providers, Quick At may process business names, owner details, contact details, addresses, operating hours, category, service area, listings, prices, menus, products, images, booking information, order information, commission records, payout records and customer communications.
This information helps Quick At publish listings, connect customers to businesses, process orders or bookings, support advertising and marketing tools, manage commissions and assist with user support.
7. Vehicle rental information
For Rent Out Vehicle and Find Vehicle services, Quick At may process vehicle owner details, renter details, vehicle descriptions, registration numbers, photos, availability, pricing, location, insurance status, booking dates, handover notes, damage reports, mileage, fuel level, payment records and dispute records.
This information is used to publish vehicle listings, manage rental requests, support payments, handle disputes, assist with damage or safety reports and maintain records of vehicle rental activity.
8. Courier, delivery and shopping information
For courier, delivery, shopping and related services, Quick At may process sender details, receiver details, delivery addresses, product or parcel descriptions, order values, pickup times, proof of collection, proof of delivery, driver location, payment details and support communications.
Users must not upload or send unlawful, dangerous or prohibited items through Quick At services. Quick At may keep relevant records where needed for safety, disputes, fraud checks and legal compliance.
9. Wallet, PayFast, banking and payouts
Quick At may process wallet balances, top-ups, PayFast payment references, ride payments, commission deductions, refunds, reversals, referral credits, affiliate credits, reward credits, withdrawal requests, payout history and banking details.
Payment processing may involve PayFast, banks, payment gateways, fraud-prevention providers and other financial service providers. Quick At does not store full card numbers unless a lawful and secure payment provider feature specifically allows tokenised storage.
Banking details are used to process withdrawals and payouts. Users must keep banking details accurate. Quick At may delay or reject payouts where information is incorrect, suspicious, disputed or under review.
10. Referral and affiliate marketing information
Quick At may process referral codes, affiliate links, click records, signup records, booking records, ride records, earning records, payout details, marketing channel details, website or social media links and WhatsApp details.
This information is used to track referrals, calculate referral earnings, calculate affiliate earnings, prevent duplicate or fraudulent rewards, manage payout requests, display referral dashboards and operate referral board or competition features where available.
11. Facebook and Google login/register
When you register or log in with Facebook or Google, Quick At may receive information such as your name, email address, profile identifier and profile photo, depending on the provider and permissions granted.
Quick At uses this information to create, verify or access your rider or driver account. Google and Facebook remain separate providers with their own privacy policies, security controls and account rules.
12. How we use personal information
Quick At uses personal information to operate, secure, improve and support its products and services.
- Create, verify, approve, suspend or close user accounts.
- Match riders with drivers and connect users with businesses, vehicles, couriers or services.
- Process bookings, pre-bookings, ride requests, deliveries, rentals, orders, payments and refunds.
- Calculate fares, commissions, statements, wallet balances, rewards, referral earnings, affiliate earnings and payouts.
- Provide support, respond to complaints, manage disputes and investigate incidents.
- Detect and prevent fraud, fake accounts, payment abuse, reward abuse, safety risks and unauthorised activity.
- Send service notifications, booking updates, driver updates, wallet alerts, safety messages and important account notices.
- Improve the Platform, fix technical issues, analyse usage and develop new features.
- Comply with laws, court orders, regulator requests, tax duties, accounting duties and safety obligations.
13. Legal reasons for processing
Quick At processes personal information where it is needed to provide services, perform agreements, protect legitimate interests, comply with legal obligations, protect users, prevent fraud, respond to emergencies or where you have given consent.
Where consent is required, you may withdraw consent where the law allows. Withdrawal may limit or stop your ability to use services that require the relevant information.
14. Sharing information with other users
Quick At may share necessary booking and profile information between users so services can be completed. For example, a rider may see a driver name, vehicle details, driver photo, rating and live location, while a driver may see rider name, pickup point, drop-off point, contact details or booking notes.
Vehicle owners and renters may receive information needed for rental handover, booking management, payment confirmation and dispute handling. Businesses and customers may receive order, booking, delivery or service-related information needed to complete the transaction.
15. Sharing information with service providers
Quick At may share information with trusted service providers that help operate the Platform. These may include hosting providers, developers, payment processors, mapping providers, messaging providers, analytics providers, customer support providers, identity verification providers, cloud storage providers, email providers and fraud-prevention providers.
Service providers may only use the information for authorised Quick At purposes and must protect it according to their obligations and applicable law.
16. Sharing for safety, legal and compliance reasons
Quick At may share information where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate safety incidents, respond to panic alerts, deal with fraud, enforce agreements, comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, recover money owed or defend claims.
This may include sharing information with police, emergency responders, regulators, courts, payment providers, insurers, legal advisers, auditors, accountants or other parties involved in a dispute or incident.
17. Panic, safety and emergency features
Quick At safety features may collect and process information such as user identity, location, booking details, emergency contact details, messages, photos, audio notes, support records and incident descriptions.
Safety tools are intended to support incident reporting and user safety, but Quick At cannot guarantee emergency response times or outcomes. In an emergency, users should contact local emergency services directly where possible.
18. Cookies, analytics and tracking
Quick At may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics tools and similar technologies to keep users logged in, remember preferences, protect accounts, measure traffic, analyse features, improve performance and support advertising or referral tracking.
You can control certain cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling cookies or tracking technologies may affect login, wallet, booking, referral, affiliate or app features.
19. Marketing messages
Quick At may send service messages, safety messages, account messages, booking messages, wallet messages, payout messages and legal notices. These messages are necessary for using the Platform and may not always have an unsubscribe option.
Quick At may also send promotional messages, referral updates, affiliate updates, business offers, product updates or marketing messages where permitted by law. You may opt out of direct marketing where an opt-out option is provided or by contacting Quick At support.
20. Children, minors and teen ride services
Quick At services are generally intended for users who can legally create an account and accept agreements. Where a teen ride, school ride, family ride or minor-related service is available, a parent, guardian or authorised adult must provide the required information and consent.
Quick At may process minor-related information only as needed to provide the service, manage safety, confirm authority, handle support and comply with legal obligations.
21. User content and public information
Information you upload to public or semi-public areas of Quick At may be visible to other users. This may include business listings, profile names, driver profiles, vehicle listings, product listings, accommodation listings, ratings, reviews, images and descriptions.
You must not upload another person’s personal information, images, documents or private details unless you have lawful authority to do so.
22. Information security
Quick At uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure, alteration and destruction.
No app, website, network, payment system or storage system is completely secure. Users must keep passwords, devices, social login accounts and one-time passwords safe and must report suspected unauthorised access immediately.
23. Retention of information
Quick At keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, account management, support, statements, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, safety investigations and legitimate business records.
Some information may be retained after account closure where necessary to meet legal duties, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements or keep required business records.
24. Cross-border storage and processing
Quick At may use service providers, hosting systems, cloud tools or payment providers that store or process information in South Africa or other countries. Where information is transferred across borders, Quick At will take reasonable steps required by applicable law to protect the information.
25. Your privacy rights
Where the law allows, you may request access to your personal information, ask Quick At to correct inaccurate information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where consent applies, request deletion of information, or ask for details about how your information has been used.
Quick At may need to verify your identity before responding. Some requests may be refused or limited where information must be kept for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, dispute or operational reasons.
26. Account deletion and deactivation
You may request account deletion or deactivation through Quick At support where available. Deleting an account may remove access to wallet, trips, bookings, earnings, statements, referrals, affiliate tools, business listings, vehicle listings and support history.
Quick At may retain certain records after deletion where needed for legal compliance, safety, fraud checks, accounting, unresolved disputes, outstanding payments, chargebacks or claims.
27. Accuracy of information
You must keep your account, contact, banking, driver, vehicle, business and booking information accurate and up to date. Incorrect information may cause failed bookings, delayed payouts, wrong driver matching, failed verification, support delays or account suspension.
28. Data incidents
If Quick At becomes aware of a data incident affecting personal information, Quick At will take reasonable steps to investigate, reduce harm and notify affected users or regulators where required by law.
29. Changes to this Policy
Quick At may update this Privacy Policy when services, technology, laws, payment providers, safety features or business operations change. The updated Policy will apply from the effective date shown on the page, unless a different date is stated.
Continued use of Quick At after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

By using Quick At, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the processing of your personal information as described in this Policy.
This Policy should be read together with the Quick At Terms and Conditions and any service-specific agreement that applies to the feature you use.
